Week #3 Ask the Expert

Well I would talk about volleyball since I believe I know quite a bit about it. If I was asked the most important rules, I would probably give all of them because pretty much all the rules are important. I would tell the audience that each game goes to 25 points and a team has to win by 2 with a cap of 30. You play best 2 of 3 which is a match. Before the game you have to make sure you don't have any jewelry or colored spandex. Then the coin toss decides whether a team has serve or receive. During the game a team cannot be out of rotation and the front row cant be behind the back row and players next to each other cannot cross before the serve goes over. When serving, a player cannot cross the end line before making contact with the ball, and the server only gets one retry per set. The back row players cannot cross the 10-foot line when hitting. Only three touches are allowed before the ball has to go over unless a blocker has touched the ball. In that case, the team can technicall...

Week #2 Science Experiment....Gone Wrong

If I were the alien, I would justify my experiment by saying that I was just very curious about how everything would work together. I would probably admit that most of what I created was actually just an accident because I'm really not that creative. The reason humans do crazy things is because part of the experiment went crazy and didn't happen how it was supposed to happen. Also after awhile, I just got bored of the experiment and let the humans and everything do their own thing since I didn't really care. And currently my experiment is going very haywire so I might get interested in it again.

Week #1 How's School?

Well, school has been going pretty well so far. I can't believe were seniors and it's probably going to get stressful when we have to decide what career and what college were going to go into. I like most of my classes even though calculus is pretty hard. The first day I understood none of what we did, but it's starting to get better and I am starting to understand more. Chemistry is pretty easy right now, but I'm sure it will probably get harder. Also human development is a fun class but the homework is actually kind of challenging. It's kind of nice to be back to school and see everybody, but I definitely do not like getting up early. The only goals I really have for this year are to have good grades, get through the year, and have a fun year. Also volleyball is going pretty well so far so I'm pretty excited for that.
